Shafer:

Shafer Vineyards stands out in a region where excellence is the norm. The Hillside Select Cabernet is considered as one of the best wines made in Napa. It all started in 1972 when John Shafer bought 210 acres of a dilapidated 50 year old vineyard which he progressively reestablished with his son Doug. Both have a perfect knowledge of their land which has been a key factor in their success.

 

Atalon:

This ‘Boutique’ winery traces its history back to 1888 but it was only with the release of its first contemporary vintage (1997) that Atalon showed its potential of producing some of the finest Cabernet of the region.

 

Opus One:

The first discussion of the joint venture between Robert Mondavi and Baron Philippe de Rothschild was made in Hawaii in 1970. The first vintage (1979) was released in 1983 and the wines quickly became iconic. In 1981, Robert Mondavi sells Q block (35 acres) part of his famous To Kalon vineyards to the joint venture. The vineyards are planted in high density and offers great quality fruits.

 

Robert Mondavi:

Robert Mondavi is a Californian Institution. A brilliant innovator who raised Californian wine to an international level. Since 1966 the winery has been a leading winery in Napa influencing the national and international market. The range is wide offering well made wine at every level.
